Clubs (not for golfing)

It used to be that people graduated from their entry level first tank to joining associations and clubs, either local, national or international ones. So how many people here belong to fish clubs?

I almost signed up for the GSAS (greater Seattle aquarium society) which has auctions, monthly meetings, speeches and guest speakers and contests etc. however they did meet on the same day of the week as one of my other weekly things, though I would have skipped the one week per month to attend. I did not sign up because unfortunately I did not meet one of their requirements for participation due to my health conditions
