clowns are fighting

help my clownsare fighting when ever i drop sum frozen food in they go mental and start trying to kill each other its really bad tonight but they are fine all the rest of the time what can i do?

Yep that is - its ammonia driven anger...

OK - Clowns are nearly always a bit umm... 'competative' at feeding time.

ours will click at each other and chase each other away from food. Its quite normal - try to feed in multiple place at once to diffuse this and hopefully they will calm down a bit - we feed 3-4 bits of cucumber in different spots and the fighting dies down.

You never no, should ask tank size and water test, learnt that from the beginning.

thanxs smithrc so its in there nature to compete for food all though while they are fighting my guppys seem to eat all of the food lol so there getting no where arguing with one another!
