Well, my mom and my brother went and got me a scooter blenny and a clown. A maroon clown. I just wanted to make sure this is a good idea. It was for my birthday so...

ok, in my tank i have

1 Yellow Corris Wrasse
1 Coral Beauty pygmy angel
1 sand sifting goby
1 green clown goby
adding the scooter... Oh hes cute
1 yellow watchman goby
1 white watchman goby (dunno if thats a species but it is a watchman)\

i also have

1 emerald mithrax crab
1 pistol shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp

also...

1 feather duster
colony of green star polyp
colony of ?pink star polyp?
colony of some weird polyp that my dad came home with
1 ?brocolli polyp?
2 colonies of button polyps
some yellow polyps and some orange zooanthids

OK.......so am i good or what?

Personally I wouldnt be happy if anyone else bought Livestock for me if they didnt have the any knowledge on its requirements & compatibility.

LFS Gift Vouchers are a lot better IMO

I'd say ditch the maroon clown, it will bully the other fish, also your wrasse may out compete your scooter bleny, it can live for a long time on reserves but make sure its getting enought food, maybe culture copapods or mysis shrimp. The pink star polys are just plain old star polyps, Broccoli coral maybe a green coliflower colt coral. Tell me about the polyps your dad brought home for you.

My view would be that there is too many bottom dwellers in your tank and i'm dubious as to whether your sandbed will be able to sustain the sand sifter and the two watchman gobies. I guess you'll just have to keep an eye on them, make sure they're well fed and look out for any depression in their underbellies as this is a sure sign of malnutrition.

Watch the maroon. They look great when young but they are probably the largest of the clown family and they can become bullies.. I have seen maroon clowns almost 6 inches long! Considering these are very chunky fish im sure you will appreciate that they can be very powerful and easily dominate the tank. DOnt get me wrong however, I love maroons.. One of my favorites tobe honest but i do suggst you be aware of what they can become.
