If you got rid of the Undulate, it might work. Clown Triggers and Undulates are both extremely aggressive fish, especially when larger. They will either destroy each other, or team up and destroy you and your other fish.

Undulate Triggers are widely regarded as vicious beasts and are best avoided when selecting community fish. Clown Triggers are not as bad, but they too frequently suffer from this bad reputation.

I have also been looking at the clown trigger, but I heard bad things about them.....:(

Remeber that Tetraodonts are intelligent fish, with differing personalities; one could be the most gentle fish on Earth (such as my Pinktailed Trigger) while another of the same species could be a hell-raiser.

Puffers are quite toxic, so few fish want to eat them.

But remember, adult Undulate Triggers are reputed to be one of the most aggressive aquarium fish in the world; if it is true that yours is an angel for his species, then congratulations; however, he could also just be a docile, gentle juvenile waiting to grow up and annihilate the other fish (and you if you don't be careful! )

Quite an impressive fish, they are. But their temperment must be acknowledged.

Clown Triggrer will cost you grief and also money, if not now then later, they will destory your tankmates.

From my reading of marine pred sites and forums, Clown triggers can be perfectly peaceful until they hit around the 8" mark. At that point they start to get very narky and will set about upsetting less aggressive tankmates.

For a few years, yes. However, Clown Triggers will eventually reach an adult size of around 16'' and will require a tank of at least 90 gallons when it is unable to cruise freely in the 55 gallon tank.
