Clown Loches

How big do they get? Do they look like pleco's? I swear the guy at the LFS said the fish he was selling were clown loaches but they looked exactly like Plecos and were about 3 inches ling. He said thats as big as they get.

there is such a thing as a clown pleco, and that does get to around 3"

Clown loaches look like this:

They are really good at getting snails out of your tank.

they are nice and peaceful, in fact I rarely see mine.
of all the plecs I have/had this one seems the most elusive.
they are however one of the wood eating plecos and bogwood
is a 'must have' in your tank to keep them alive.

no bogwood = no clown pleco
