What do you all think? Would clown loaches full grown uproot plants or go around them in a 125?

They do have a reputation for destroying plants especially the more mature one's. But from experiance I have found the younger ones are quite happy to help out to!

There are some species of plant that fare better than others but there is no garauntee. The larger heavy leaf and stem plants are better but sorry I cant tell you names as I have not got a clue when it comes to plants.

My big guys are plant destroyers. I got 3 nice big pieces of driftwood with loads of lovely mature java fern growing on it. My clowns had them picked clean in about 6 months. Not sure if it was just boredom.

I had five 4" specimens that were absolutely fine with plants. Sure they dug holes in my tank everywhere and occasionally uprooted the odd one, but i replanted them and it was fine. On a weekly basis i had to replant perhaps one plant a week. My java ferns never got bothered with at all, and certainly never stripped bare. I suppose it depends on the fishs personality that you get also.
