What type of cories are they?  Some are more heat resistant than others.  Plus, this is a TEMPORARY setting just while treating for the ich, not the permanent temp.

right ive 40% water change and as much gravel vac as i can cos of plants,turned heater up one click should take it up to 29/30 from what i had it on was 28.see how that goes on day 5 of treatment

just keep at it, and doing what you're doing. I always tend to panic when i don't see immediate results, but they should pull through! GL!
