Hi wondered if any one could help me ,

I currently have 4 young clown loaches i bought 3 of them a week ago and had one in my smaller tank for around 3 weeks before buyin the 3 and transferring all of them a week ago to a bigger tank they all got on fine and the one that was previously on his own perked up alot but this morning i checked thr fish and found one of them had a golden spot on one of his stripes (i think it was my original loach) and all day hes been laying on his side breathing really fast hes not even moving or shying away now hes just out in the tank ill upload a pic but does any one have any idea what it could be ? I originally thought whitespot but the spot isnt actually white im preety new tp thos sp excuse me if i sound a bit dumb , i tested water and nitrite is 0.01 , ph 7.5 and amonia 0

Anyone tell me how to upload a pic ? Lol

if you take a pic and upload it to photobucket or similar you can then click on the img code, it will say 'copied' then you open the reply on here click on photo (3rd icon along from smiley face above)it will say insert image. Then you right click, paste and the img code will load in. If it then says 2 lots of IMG delete the capital leaving and the code after it. When you then click on post your picture should come up.
It took me a few tries to work it out.

Re - your fish - when was the last time you did a water change? What's the temp? Whitespot shows up more on the fins I find and clown loaches can be really prone to it aswell. I got rid of my clown loaches once I realised what size tank they needed so I'm not too up on their needs.

Someone more experienced may be able to help more

Good luck

Thanks for youre reply he has just died :(

I did read up alot on whitespot but the symptons didnt really sound the same whatever it was happened really quickly ! I just hope the others are ok now but i did pur the ill one in a small tank by hiself a few hours ago when i realised something wasnt right ,

I have been doing 25% water changes every other day and the temp was average of 77-80 incase any one has any advice on how to stop this happening again if i was doing something wrong ?

Sad to see him go i got attached yo the lil fella :(
