Clown Loach

I am looking at buying 4 clown loach soon, The thing is i have gravel in my tank would i have to change this to sand. My other fish are mollies, platys, flying fox. The other option i thought of was to leave gravel at the back and sand at the front or exchange the gravel for finer gravel

Nah, they would prefer it but its not necessary, they will be perfectly happy without it as long as your tanks big enough
