I would give him some more time first, same as you say you only added the med today.
If he goes any further downhill that's when I would step in.

i got up this morning and he looked even worse, i decided it was unfair to let it suffer even more and had to put it out of its misery he was one of my favourite fish i now only have one left, when i have finished treating the tank do you think i could add more clown loaches with an adult one about 4 inches long
