What do clown loach prefer to eat?

Mine down seem too keen on flake food, should i try bloodworm, i'v read they like meat.

Mine adore blood worms and they are partial to an algae wafer or two

Yeah i saw them trying to have a nible of my plecs algae wafer before but he didn't want to share.

What else could i feed them? I won't have time to go to my LFS as im working tommorow so cant get hold of any bloodworms.

They maybe getting enough from the tank. remember food is not always plentiful in the wild and they are scavengers and will eat algae in the tank if hungry.

Mine eat bloodworms, chopped raw prawns, fake, catfish tablets, cichlid pellets, fruit and veg (seems, any) anything really!!!

I am lucky with them.

I Have 5 Clown Loach In a 30 Gallon tank. I Feed them freeze dried blood worms, flaked and pellet food and most inportantly cucumber! Chop the cucumber in slices and put on a weight and in about 5 minutes the inside of the cucumber will be gone! Its amazing!
