I like it! so many! I wish I could have clown loaches! what size tank is it?

They are in an 85 gallon tank at the moment but will be moving into a 220 gallon very soon.

there are 12 at the moment, I didnt really want to get any more than 8 really but a friend was getting rid of 4 and wanted me to have them rather than sell them so I gave them a home , this is why I am getting the 220 gallon tank as soon as possible.

it is huge! can you imagine 12 of these huge mothers? haha!

I know the owner of that tank and I have actaully seen "Marge" in the flesh.

That clip seriously doesnt do the fish any justice, when I saw her every clown that came out of the decor seemed to be bigger than the last so you kept on thinking thats her, no thats her, no thats her and then Stripes her boyfriend appears and he is huge and then Marge appears and it is truly an amazing sight.

What you cant tell from that clip is that the biggest of those Filamentosa barbs is well over 6"

The little ones did but when Marge and Stripes turn up all the others move away and let them get on with it

we've got 9 - not all that size though - I love the way they beg at the front og the tank

How many clown loaches would you CL keepers recomend for a 55 gallon?

will chain loaches behave like clowns?

I have the Chain Loaches as well as Dario's, Kubotai's and Rostrata's and none of them are like the clowns, they all have their own little quirks but not to compete with the clowns.

As soon as I step foot in the same room as the clowns on a morning they all come to the end of the tank and go berserk, and if I dont feed them straight away they will follow me backwards and forwards along the tank until I open the lid to feed them.

Chain Loaches are fun though, always on the go and always chasing each other, very funny to watch.
