Clown Loach Cysts Or Bite Marks?

Well its been a week since I moved the Loach to quarenteen. I have been treating with Melafix and he seems to have cleared up nicely. So a few more days and he'll be good to go back into the community :) SO happy he made it

Thats good news then glad he on the mend.

Thanks, I 'fished' him out today to check on the healing process as he spends most his time hiding, I think he misses his mate, as he does nothing but hide in the 120gal, and they were both very active together.
The 'puncture' type wounds have healed, just waiting for the skin to regenerate with colour over them now, and the lumps have all but gone, just little pock marks left, which hopefully will also heal.

So all is looking good... now just to erradicate planaria worms that came in on some plants I got sent by a friend... :shout:

maybe when he is completely healed up and back in with the other clown you could consider getting another to make it up to 3. this should cut down any jostling for leadership, as two dosen't always work with clowns!
nath1 :good:

I did have 4, but I had a filter fail a while back and I lost two of them in the ammonia spike.

And its like try to get a bag of chicken teeth, trying to get a hold of Clown Loaches that are 6"+ as anything smaller will get eaten by some of the larger fish.

thanks for the advice though :good:
