One of my clowns (I have 2) has seemed to get smaller where as the other has grown quite big. I asked at the fish shop and they said it is probably just a smaller fish, I checked for other signs and all seemed fine. This fish has always seemed more 'shy' so I always make sure that it is out when feeding, or it would miss out.
It is now dying as I type, still breathing with its tail bent ropund at an angle. I picked it up to put it in the plants so the others dont bother and it tried yo swim but just nose dived.
Is there anything I can do, if it is dying and there is absolutly nothing I can do I dont want it to suffer so maybe I should do something about it (dont actually think I could do that though?)
Any advice would be appreciated. Ta

It really doesn't sound too good. If you can take him out and isolate him, I would do that. If you have clove oil, you can use that to euthanize him. It is painless to the fish, and is essientially the same as putting a dog to sleep.

That is the best way poor little guy :rip: But it is what you should do and if you dont have those spplies I think you can freeze them cant you?

For clove oil, you mix a little up with some tank water, then add it to the container the fish is in. Even though this is hard to do, it is saving the fish you loved alot of suffering. That is one of the most humane ways to put a fish down, for the fish and the owner. I know its hard, but I would rather put a fish down than watch them needlessly suffer.

Vodka, how big is the tank in gallons.

Overdose of bacteria med.
