I have suddenly found the water in my tank has gone cloudy and I don't know what has caused it or how to fix it?
Last week I had quite a build up of algae on my glass, which is not necessarily out of normal behaviour as the light is on quite a few hours a day.
I went away for a few days and put two feeder blocks in the tank. When I've returned I removed the left overs and cleaned the tank of algae and did a partial water change (about 20%).
The water has been cloudy ever since I did that (5 days ago). So, I've done another 20% water change with no change to the cloudiness.
I'm confused, this is not a new tank and I'm always commented on about the clear/clean water and the cleanliness of the tank.
What has happened? How do I fix the problem?
