I have a 64 litre tank with 2 axolotls, At the begining, we put alot of oyster shell in to make that water harder. But now the water has gone cloudy! Im afraid of using any sort of chemicals because they can destroy my axolotls immune system, is there a way of making the water less cloudy, with out using chemicals? If not, im considering puting them in a temporary tank, and starting all over again. It looks horrible! :(
Any ideas would be much appreciated! :good:

You could try doing a water change. What are your water stats?

And maybe add some filter floss to the filter?, may clear the water a little if not completely :good:

We done a 20L change today, it cleared up a little bit, but then returned back to what it was in the first place. Not sure, still in the process of buying a test kit our lfs does free water tests (and they are accurate :) ) so we have put of buying one (They can be rather pricey! :p)

I just realised this has been posted, I will have a look tomorow thanks! :good:

I think all three (water changes, filter floss and carbon) sound like good ideas and could also be repeated (leave at least an hour between water changes if you do more than one.
