Ok tanks been up and running for months now but past couple weeks water has been very cloudy. All my fish are fine the kribs even had babys and the ammonia is 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10 and ph7.
Does anyone have any ideas whats causing the cloudy water and how to get rid of it? I have tried water changes and they do nothing at all
Thanks
Pooh

Need more info on size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
What type filter do you use.
Do you use filter floss or matting in the filter.
How much do you feed.
How often do you do a gravel vac.

Do you have to have red writing as it classed as being rude lol.

what colour is the cloudy water?
If it is green cloudy then it is free floating algae and can be eliminated by reducing the light and adding more plants.
If it is milky cloudy then it is bacterial bloom caused by too much rotting food and an inefficient filer. More water changes and gravel cleans, and cut back on feeding to clear up this problem.

In 8 years of using red in forums this is first time Ive been classed as rude.
The tank is 14 gallons
I use a fluval 2plus filter
I have 5 minnows 2 neons and 2 kribs who have just had babies which I know make tank over crowded but untill summer I cant get a bigger tank.
I feed once a day and hoover the gravel once a week during weekly water change.
Ive been testing water every couple of days and its staying constant at ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate 10.

My brother in law has the same problem, he put it down to the brand of fish food he was using.
