ever since i got the water polishing pads, my water has been very cloudy, getting worse by day. I replace it, and one day later its even cloudier.... I want to get rid of the cloudiness but i dont want to put in those water polishing pads either...

the filter i have is a fluval 304\305 i dunno which one :p

Hi,
How old is your tank, i.e. how long has it been set up. What water volume do you have. Would appreciate a few water stats, and a list of current occupants. Basicaly, throw as much info as you can at us, so we can identify the problem for you. If it is a new tank, its probibly a bactiria bloom, an thus nothing to worry about. However, we need water stats to make sure the water is ok.

thanks

the water is at 0 ammonia 0 nitrIte and about 3 nitrAte, it has been set up for a couple months, and the bacterial bloom is over. It is 48 gallons.

Or you could just do a few water changes over the next week and hope that helps.
I usually just don't even worry about cloudy water. It goes away eventually.

Also try the carbon wool pad for the filter, this usually clears it up, and doesnt effect your filter bacteria and removes the need for chemicals.
