Cloudy Water... Why? :\

Hi guys,

Yesterday I noticed that my water was cloudy for some reason, it has been crystal clear for weeks! I ended up cleaning my tank and filter (As it was due for its first clean since setting it up), I also changed things around in the tank as I didn't like the look of it previously, I've attached 2 photos, 1 before the scape and you can see the water is clear, and the second after the re-scape and clean, which was taken a day later and it looks cloudy.

I cleaned the foam pads in the filter however I didn't change the carbon yet as I need to buy some (the Fluval maintenance book says to change 50% of the carbon every month), would this be right? If I change it over my water should be back to being crystal clear?

Any help would be great, thanks!

Nice aqua scape! I also had this problem last week in my 38g aquarium. I did a 50% water change and it was crystal clear.

Thanks! Hmm, I did a water change yesterday/cleaned my tank and filter, hopefully another night and it will clear how bizarre!
