hello,
can anybody help?the water keeps clouding up in the tank.today i have left the light off and the water is a lot clearer.so it must have something to do with some sort of reaction to the light

Do you have fish in the tank? there are 3 possible reasons that spring to mind
1/ the most dangerous one is ammonia have you tested water,if so what are the results, if not test your water.
2/ possible bacterial bloom, remedies available from LFS
3/ particulates in the water, floculants available from LFS

what colour is the cloudy water?
green is free floating alage that can be removed with good filtration and a reduction in light and nutrients.
milky white cloudy is bacterial and is often caused by uneaten food rotting in the tank. Daily partial water changes and gravel cleans will fix this problem. Also cut back on the feeding.

cheers,i did test everything and all was ok,must be the food;have to give the wife a lecture as she does the feeding

now now be nice :) don't upset her too much otherwise you will be given the choice.
Either the fish go, or I go.
