Well, tonight I went to petco on a mission. Tonight I had enough money to buy some SW snails and the silk betta plants I needed. After 20 mins or so, and having nothing I wanted or needed in either plants nor SW, I wandered over to the FW area...I saw the cichlids on sale...
There was one that cought my eye for $9.99 and after talking to the lady about it, she sold it to me for $3.99!!
I got 2 electric yellows for $2.50 each...
But I spent around $10 somehow.
And I didn't get anoything of my origanal list!
So.....three more cichlids, no plants, no snails....
Anyone else every done this?

Unfortunately, I forgot that I knew nothing about keeping plants and, aside from root tab and possibly a better bulb, I'm really at a loss for what to do now. At least they didn't have a clearance on fish.
If it isn't buying fish, it's stocking up on food or buying a spare tank.
lol every time i go down my girlfriend says, "you going to buy anything" and i say "no, aint got cash only the change in my pocket" then in we go and there it is, 6 neons for £3... doh another 6 neons, its happened twice now. i have 15 neons now, the others go to my girlfriend so shes happy too...
