Clickage: Plants

Hey yall!

I'm new at the whole plant seen. I am considering have a few live plants in my 55G rather than just fake plants.

I've kept 3 plants in my 10G pefore, all of which I pulled out. They were terrable. So i'm going to try my hand at it again. I really like Java Fern, Amazon Sword and I'd like some type of tall grassy stuff for the back of the tank.

It needs to be compatable with Gouramis, Angles, and neons.

So yeah........Oppinions, please.

your choice of plants is probably dictated by the amount of light you have at this stage. So how many watts of light do you have? And it maybe useful to know which tube(s) it is too?

Java Fern does well in low light conditions.

The tall grass like plant is probably Vallis.
