This may sound stupid but............

I have a Betta in a 3 gal. tank and I change half the water twice per week. What about the gravel ? Do they make a tiny siphon or do I have to remove her and empty it out and rinse ? If so....how often do you do it ? Thanks

get a gravel vaccum from a lfs, they should have ones tiny enough for your tank.

Or you can just swish the net about the debris will move off the gravel and you can net it, better still have sand so you can see it and it doesn't go down between the gravel or you can use a turkey baster/pipette to just suck up the poop [don't baste your turkey with it though ]

yea a siphon or turkey baster works fine just swish it around about a inch above the sand and the poo comes right up,,, but carefull to keep the fish away from it,, i accidently sucked up my one of my female cts cause she got too close to the end,,, dumb fish :shout:
