Cleaning Nets And Tubes

What is the best way to clean the siphon tubes, nets, polls, etc... that are used to clean my saltwater tank? Right now I soak them in a large tub with hot water for a few hours, is this good enough?

For tubes I use a long bristle rod thingo (sorry, minds gone.....too little sleep! ) that you can buy cheap enough in a hardware store, supermarket, or $2 shop if you find a small enough diameter, nets I clean peridocally buy dipping in freshwater and leaving them out in the sun to dry. Poles? Funly enough, I have a pole I use, its called the prodding stick! LOL, and its mainly used for pesky hermits when they are found where hermits are not s'posed to be! That just dries in the cuboard when im finished with it!

Anything else I get one of my trusty must have towels, and dry it off, and it goes back in the cuboard. Towels get washed once a week usually.

Thank you, I picked up the tube brushes today at the hardware store for $5 US, it is 3/4 inch by 48 inches. It is really long and should clean my tubes well, thanks againfor the advice.
