I have recently planted some plants in to my tank with Hemianthus Callitrichoides "Cuba" and i cant now use my Aquarium Fish Tank Electric Siphon Vacuum Cleaner, as i have tried once and some of them just get pulled out and i have to plant them again, at the moment as i have planted Hemianthus Callitrichoides "Cuba" only about 1 week ago they still did not cover the whole bottom of the aquarium and i dont like using the vacuum as it some times pules the bunces of those plants out :( ... Do i leave the fish waste as it is and it will be used as fertilizer or do i need to try and clear it?
I do water changes of 25-20% every week.

Any suggestions would be good.

Okay, the hoover is good. What I do is screl surrounding the plants into the centre of the tank, and then replace it with surrounding gravel. Hoover the gravel in the centre, and then do like a rotation over a few days... My tank and gravel is spotless doing it that way. OR get yourself some Geophagus sandsifters/eartheaters

I don't bother cleaning the gravel. If you want to do anything, waving your hand over the surface to lift the mulm up works OK and you can then suck it out during a water change.

Emma i dont have sand but i guess u meant gravel too, i have cat fish but the thing is they eat algae is there any species that will actually eat fish waste poo but dont produce as much as eaten... i mean so it wont go in the circle, eat poo eat poo, i dont think i will be able to move my plants as they are pretty small now in root mesuements and i wouldnt like to disturb my plants each time i clean gravel :(

Int there any other way to get rid of it ??? I just wonder those professionally planted tanks u dont even see a 1 waste in them they are so spotless clean or will it come later on that it will be cleaned by it self later on once plants will establish?

you dont need to move the plants, basically those professional tanks they just brush the gravel vac over the top of the plants to get the surface waste like dead leaves big poo's etc if you wanna get it even cleaner then use your hand to brush over it as sam said then vac the stuff before it sinks again, its simple, dont vac too hard of you'll uproot the plants, and dont suck the gravel into the vac either just hover over the plants.
