Cleaning Extreme Bba Off Plastic Plants

I need to clean the plastic plants in one of my tanks but I don't want to use bleach as that didnt get it all off last time and left ugly white wisps of dead algae on them. Any other good methods? Boiling water and salt? Steam cleaner?

jet washer might do it but depends on there strength

mix up boiling water and a LARGE quantity of salt and leave to soak overnight.
