Hi, soon(hopefully, when i put my big cichlids in new tank) i am going to make my juwel rio 400 a planted tank.Offcourse i will get algae at first,so what are some good plants to compete with algae(fast growers with little needs),i've used wisteria before .Any place to buy loads online for cheap price?.Also where online can i buy ottos and shrimp(for cleaning)because my lf's don't stock them.

Thanks :good:

I can recommend these for plants:

Make sure you wash the plants in a weak bleach solution and then give them a good rinse. This should get rid of any snails and Copper.

Sometimes, Greenline plants have a little unwelcome Duckweed with them as well. I still recommend them, though.

Cheers, Dave.
