I have 2 plecos in my 10 gal. tank (with 4 platies and 3 neon tetras). The plecos clean nicly, but make also the most waste so that my waterstats are not good right now, even though I do a 25-50 % waterchange with gravel vacc. ervery 4 days. So I think the plecos have to move out - but what else could I put in, that helps to keep the tank clean and doesn't produce to much waste?

Pretty much any "cleaner" fish are going to produce a fair amount of waste. Smails are another option, but they aren't for everyone and they produce waste as well. If you are looking for the best way to "clean" your tank, good ole manual cleanings are the best way.

[Well, they are the suckermouth ones that can grow really big, which I didn't know when I got them in August this year. They are still small (about 3 inches), but growing. Now I know......and sooner or later they will have to move out anyway....
