I was at the LFS other day and saw another awsome clarkii, now i have one alreayd which has been in the tank since the start would i be able to put another in with him? He is same size and seems very active.

I would only add a second clarkii if it is significantly different in size from your current one. If the new one is the same size or even just similar, you're playing with fire and likely to get burned. Even if its significantly different in size the old one may not appreciate his/her new friend.

I was talking to a guy in my LFS about this as I get on well with him and he is the manager.

Anyway he said what we offer our customers is, if they bring back there 1 clown then they can take x2 that get on and pay for the other clown.

Might be worth doing this mate? or take the risk and watch very closely.

yer well i get on ok with mine in world of fishes ( top 20 of PFK mag :D) and he mixed me a flame dwarfs with my half black which i was pleased about so i might do that, but i aint giving gupter up the colours on him are like perfect no joke.

do you have a sump or a place where you current fish can be put whilst you get the new fish? Then you could make arrangements to change the rockwork etc and then put the two fish back in at the same time.... if they are the same size then its probably your best chance of it working. larkiis can be very aggressive especially towards each other if they take a dislike. We have one in one of our tanks, its a little beauty but sadly its a sole survivor of a small pair we had. I want to introduce another but its sowell established now i really think i would be running into more trouble than its worth :/

yer ur right best leave him hes happy popping up and down in the tank lol besides more fish i can keep :D
