I chose to post here since it is probably less of an emergency so didn't want to take attention away from more urgent issues.
So... first the history. My platy tank just went through a really hard battle with week that took shy of 3 weeks to see to an end. Just before my holidays (which were only 4 days long), I separated my most sick from the others. Just before I left one of them died.
Upon returning from holidays there has been no further signs of ich coming back... which is good. Those in my platy tank and fine... well, fine in that they do not have ich... The treatment seems to have really taken its toll on my cream/black fry and a good number (as in nearly half!) have developed bent spines. I do not believe this to be due to diet or fish tb... I believe it is an effect of the meds on young fish. I have 4 slightly younger blue coral fry who all seem fine. That isn't the problem though.
In my quarantine tank I have my adult female blue coral. I had hoped to be able to move her back now but she is still "off". She isn't swimming as much (which could be because the tank has a lot less plants and doesn't have her friends either)... but she is also still clamping on and off and I am unsure of why.
What stats are good and I am changing the water every few days regardless since it is a small tank.
Do you think this is maybe a residual effect of nearly 3 weeks of meds? Is this possibly because she is feeling isolated and alone? I just don't want to move her back and find out there was a problem and be back to square one!
