Some background... back about a month ago (thereabouts) was the end of a really terrible and difficult to tackle case of ich in my platy tank... took me about 3 weeks to cure my fish. As a result, I lost a few fry, euthanized some others due to them developing curved spines (seemed related to the medication), and lost my red wag platy who was just too sick and weak.

Currently in my tank (as I have recently re-homed a lot of babies), I have two baby coral blue platies, 3 baby calico platies, and 1 adult female blue coral platy (plus zillions of assassin snail babies LOL).

My water stats have been stable.

The problem is... despite clearing the ich... my adult blue coral platy (Moon Glow from now on in the post) has never returned to good health. As it has been a month now... I am starting to wonder if somehow it is not fair to keep her.

Her symptoms are... she clamps very often but not tightly and I can't determine a reason for it. She isn't swimming with the full activity I would expect, she does often hover/hide but not near the top.

I am at a real loss as to what to do at this point. I am debating perhaps shuffling things around and bringing in the smaller babies (who have been reared in a small tank while waiting for them to not be small enough to be eaten, they are ready to move out anyway) and maybe moving Moon Glow into the small tank to quarentine her.... but to what end if I haven't a clue what to treat her for??

I just know she is really unhappy and stressed. I am sure it isn't the water, it isn't the environment or her tank mates... and it has been this way since the ich fiasco has cleared up.
