I got 2 jewels and 2 convicts and a kissing gourami.

The convicts are the first fish the other 3 let in.

I really like the fish I have, not to mention my jewels just laid some eggs.



Oh yea, nobody said it here in this thread, but get lots of hiding places for your fish if you do get cichlids

THey can go in the same tank?

she's been in there since I got my tank, and gets along fine with all the fish.

All my fish are fine and happy..don't see why I would get rid of the gourami. She actually helped the jewels beat up on some blue rams I got and had to get rid of because they were to small.

I have a gold Gourami that likes to chase around My Sev and JD. Some of those things can be vicious and i honestly think That mine would Definately give a con a fight to remember
