Cichlids Suggestion

looking for good cichlids(non angelfish) to go with neon and cardinal tetras in a 40-50 gallon tank or even 30(i know those options will be limited still would like to see though)

Keyhole Cichlids are nice and peaceful and should be fine with your other fish. They grow to about 3-4" and like plenty of plants in the tank to shelter under.

any links to site that sell them. I wouldnt buy them online just looking to get a figure on how much they cost and pictures of them and figure a site that sells them would have both lol

I'm afraid I've never bought fish online before so don't know of any sites. Ours cost about £2.50 each so not a very expensive fish.

Something else to consider is Dwarf cichlids-Apistogramma's and rams

These fish do best in soft acidic water. Heres a write up on one of the fish.

i think blue rams r good fish 2 be with neons etc as theyre not as big as most cichlids and theyre really colourful, the only problem is that they attack eachother and dont have a siamese fighting fish in with em as the blue ram killed mine but they dont bother the neons
