Cichlids and gramis/angels/catfish

Would 5 african cichlids get along with 3 angels a gourami and a few catfish for a little under 3 days? I will have a few cichlids dumped on me on Mon. and won't be able to transfer them to their proper tank until Wed. Should I stick them together with my angelfish in the 30 gallon or can they live in a 3 gallon pail for a while?? Really confuzzeled as to what to do...
