Cichlids Acting Strange

I have two cichlids (dont know the names) and they seem to kiss each other in the mouth and on each other bodies... is this ok, and what is it?

How many chiclids have you got in the tank ? How big is the tank ? It sounds to me like two males fighting for their territory. Thats what my males do specially breeding time it looks like they lock lips and they display their coulors.Anybody please correct me if I'am wrong.

can you take pictures of these unidentified cichlids, you very well could have a major disaster on your hands and might need to take back some to the store.
