Cichlid With Barbs?

Hi guys, I have a 10gal aquarium that has one Yellow Lab (I call him Derp) which is about 1 and a half inches and for a long time Ive been searching up if I could put 3 tiger barbs in with my friend Derp, Ive read that many people had success and that the barbs are a lot faster and manage to get away, but its best I ask you guys!

So, should I or shouldnt I?Why?

Now I feel like a teacher because of the Why? lol

Long story short, no, no you cannot. Tiger barbs IMO get too big and active for a 10 gallon and will need a shoal. Not to mention problems with the Lab
