So I have a 33 gal tank but I might get a 20 gal tank. I’ve started to like the look of cichlids. In my 33 gal I’m breeding bristlenose and guppy’s do you think I should add some dwarf cichlids or buy 20 gal and put them in ther tell me what types to get for 20 or 30 gal

A 20 gallon will hold one pair of dwarfs, with maybe half a dozen surface fish. That's if you plant it, scape it properly and do regular water changes.

Agree with above. Also, we need to know your water parameters, referring to the hardness (GH, geeneral or total hardness) and pH especially, for your tap water.

Yeah that’s what I was gonna do I’m going to aqua scape it I do normally 3 water changes a week on my breeding tank
