Does Xmas moss grow seeds? I got some Xmas moss two weeks ago and most of it is brown but the patch of moss that is green has two little stems coming out of it and on the tip of the stem there is a little brown seed that looks like a mini strawberry seed. Is this a seed or something else?
Thanks!

Mosses do not flower, and thus do not produce seeds.  What you see is likely the spore capsule, which is how they do reproduce.

The brown I suspect is due to a change in water conditions.  It should recover.  I do not have Christmas Moss, but my Java Moss does this when the light changes, and sometimes from tank to tank until it is settled.

I just got this moss shipped from Malaysia last month and got it from ebay
Just give it time to settle in, and it will probably be fine.  You mention green parts now, indicative of this.  Once you see it beginning to spread, you can cut out the brown bits.  B.

I've had it for two weeks now. Half of it is green but the rest looks like it's rotting.
