Its been about a year since my last proper planted tank.

I will be dosing EI

36w t5 pc light giving just under 3 wpg.

Pressurized jbl @30ppm
DIYed reactor inline with the filter return

2 Nerite Snail

Pond Plant soil
JBL Pro Flora
topped with 20mm deep of small black river gravel.

3 pots of another plant (not sure on the name)

all along the back has plants, behind the bogwood on the left is the polysperma you carnt see it all but the corner is packed with 6 big pots (im sure by next week it will be more noticable. The foreground is going to be kept low for swimming space as it isnt a big tank.

tanks looking alot better alreay and its only been 3 days. the Hygropila Polysperma has grown about 3 inches, 2 of the other plants have grown about 2 inches.

been abit of progress with the hc might buy another pot or so thought just to help it on its way.

im planning on adding fish in another 2 or so weeks as im runnig slightly higher levels of c02 than i want to with fish in.

hi

i have ripped it down now lol.

still have a few plants in it but nothing special. it started to get to messy the polysperma just started to take over, my co2 regulator has started to leak as well with a bottle of co2 lasting 10 mins.

Wildwoods now wont refill unbranded co2 bottles so i need to find somewhere else.

i also have plans on converting the tank into something else (hence me stripping it down)

how high did you have the co2 then? your diffuser must have been signing!! did you not poison the fish?

sorry for taking so long to reply

The co2 was leaking externally.

i did have a big co2 leak on my 40 gallon tank (when it was planted) with around 51psi where it leaked into the tank. drop checker was really yellow. i must have caught it in time as the fish where at the surfice and did a very quick 60% water change with a few biggish air pumps running.

3 wpg is an awful lot. i know you need more on smaller tanks but 2 would have been fine
