Choosing My Blue Rams!

Hiya, im collecting m rams tommorow.. and both male and females are kept in one tank...
what would you suggest when picking a spawning pair of blue rams!?

Just a thought. Grab some whitespot when collecting them, also qurantine them, mine got whitespot and died when I got my forst lot, treated them too late xx

It really depends on how mature they are. Females normally get a pink belly.

Lol, well unfortunately for them that's too bad. Its going in your tank, paid for with your money, you have the right to choose which one you have, and they should happily catch it for you. I always catch specific fish for people in my LFS (unless its tetras etc that really are identical), but rams certainly are not identical

LOL i was discusted with pets at homes rams!
i wont touch them now!
although in the tank next to them they have some stunning kribs... so i got a pair!

im really happy with them... although the lady caught 2 males then i made her put both of them back and get the 2 fish i requested!

theyre ok with me but they have to as i go there so often

i personally would never buy livestock from pets at home, because the 2 closest to me are absolutely abysmal, ill/dead fish in evey tank.
there are 1 or 2 good ones around tho i believe
