Well I have one with my guppies Ive had him for about a year hes only like 6 inches and I have him with 2 female guppies and snails and he hasn't killed the guppies by sucking off the slime coating and they have been in there for months now are they ok together? And i've also noticed that hes been on the snails sucking on their shells but im not sure if hes just moving around on them.

They tend to start sucking on slime coats when they are adults so yeah, it might start soon.

I don't know if it will. I've never heard of them attacking snails but it doesn't mean they won't.

But he was an adult when I had bought him months ago and he hasn'y harmed my fish yet and my fish swim right by him he doesn't seem to care

Also sometimes temperments vary.

he looks like that

well, the people in San Francisco whose pet pitbulls attacked their son said the pitbulls were harmless until that day as well. You know what fish you have, you know their behavior. It is a gamble you are choosing to take.
