my boyfriend came home today with a fish which he was told is an algae eater. he also told that the fish WON'T get very big either as he does know that cat fish/loaches does get big, and to my surprise i think is a cae!!!! what do i do? i don't really want it as i've heard that they get aggessive as they they get older, not to mention i don't really have the room in my 33g tank. can i take the fish back to the shop? or am i stuck with it now?

thanks

Yes, take it back......nasty little beggers.

Some people keep them but imo lfs shouldn't even stock them. Novice fishkeepers see 'algae eaters' and think they will cure all their problems. Better to prevent algae rather than swap one problem for another

very sensitive them magnets, they do like an established tanks!

thanks i've taken it back a swapped it with a magnet. :)

Yes quality!.......loads more use than a CAE!

Hey, great deal
