Hello everyone! First, I would just like to say that I have really enjoyed this website and have found it to be extremely informative. I had previously fallen into the trap of purchasing a couple of Bala Sharks and African Dwarf Frogs based on the knowledge of the almighty clerk at our local Petco. Only to have tossed them into an uncycled tank and experiencing Ich and then ultimately their demise within 2 weeks. I have since gone back to my Livebearer tanks (even though years ago I never cycled those either and remarkably they survived). Our current residents are Mollies and Guppies.
You guys are a wealth of knowledge and you will see me bopping around from time to time. We currently have 10 and 20 gallon tanks, with the livebearers and no live plants. Haven't ventured there yet. lol
