the other day my tank got up to 84 degrees. I want to get a chiller to keep my tank at 78 degrees 24/7. since this is only 6 degrees off of the highest temp I have seen, do you think I could get away with a chiller that is recommended for a smaller tank?

anyone have a chiller? how do you hook them up? a pump from the sump?

never mind I bought one. its a 1/10 hp for tanks up to 130 gallons. cant wait. it should help my corals even more.

Do you have any pics of your tank I read your profile and would be very interested in seeing it. We have 3 tanks and we like to see placement of things to make sure we have everything where it will do its best. I believe we have the same chiller on our 135 gal. and it is keeping it a pretty steady 77.6. We have only had it about 2 weeks but seems to be doing the job well.

give me a couple of days to get some new pics. I am getting ready to head out of town. so it will not be until about the 28th or so.
