Chilid Sand Ok For My Fish?

I just got this Chilid sand for my aquarium and i want to put tetras and cory's in my tank but the sand gives the water a high pH.

the tests show its about 7.1 is it safe for my corys or tetra s?

7 is neutral so 7.1 isn't too high and is acceptable range for those fish. Mine hangs out about there and I didn't have any problems with my tetras or corys - until Ich wiped out my tetras that is but that's a different problem.

cool, but what is a comfortable range for them and what is too high? ty for the response
