silly silly, water them with old water during a water change - nasty stuff removed, lots of plant nutrients!! I feed my bamboo tank water and they are growing so lush they are just beautiful.

well, carnivorous plants dont like minerals and nutrients in their water. thats why i suggested distilled or rain water

i do have an oopsie though, which was i forget that my water contains less minerals than spring water/reverse osmosis and about the same amount as distilled water - so old tank wate is still incredibly good. im just a lucky guy that way.

when i travel anywhere, even just as far as edinburgh or glasgow i nearly chuck up the tap water. funniest one was my cousin when she came over from australia, an kept on asking for a glass of tap water everywhere.
