Cherry Shrimps

Help... First Shrimps... cherry Shrimps, 2 of, brilliant!!!... tank set up about a month, only small fish in it, well planted 48 x 15 x 12 one doing great(pale coloured) one on its side? (bright red), darting occasionally a distance of about 4-5" then lying motionless for a while then feelers and legs move, then a dart again. has been doing this for about 10 hrs now?
Like a new Dad here!!!

Ah... not suitable for new setups. Water fishless cycled, only 6 small fish added slowly and quality good, sampled by friend. One shrimp is doing well, very active. I was hoping you were going to tell me it was shedding its exoskeleton.. Doh..

Oh I hope so. I will let you know. The straw I am clutching is that the lighter coloured one is great, healthy and normal/ I hope?
