Cherry Shrimp In A 2.5g?

im having an algae problem in my tank and thinking of shrimp will cherry shrimp be ok in this tank with 3 pygmy corys and 1 endler?

what type of algae is it? You have to address why you are getting it and how to stop it. They dont eat all types.

its blanket algae , all over the plants and when i pull it off half of the plant goes with it

blanket? I dont know that can you identify it with the algae guide in my sig? Then again it is blanket weed isnt it.

Manually pull out every bit you can see until it stops growing. Make sure water circulation is good. Overdosing Flourish Excel by 3x may clear it. Amano shrimp sometimes eat it.

It sounds like hair algae to me. There isn't anything really that will eat hair algae you just need to cut down on lighting alot to get rid of it.

i have mts, amano shrimp and ottos and have never had any visible algae in my tank. ever!
