Cherry Shrimp & Dwarf Gouramis.....

i have a pair of dwarf gouramis and think they are a male and female so am probably going to introduce another female as they just chase around the tank.... i am also going to add about 30 cherry shrimp to the aquarium, would the gouramis eat the shrimp? is it worth it?

Hi Matt

We have had both Dwarf gourami's and Cherry shrimp in the tank together with no sign of any issues.

I would only say just use common sense due to the size of the shrimp. Keep babies in a breeding tank till there big enough.

cheers steve, i will go buy some shrimp then now. there is a guy near me selling them at 25p a pop..... bargain!!!
