When cherry red shrimp babies are born... will I be able to tell what they are? I have a tank just for them... its got sand in the corner covered with gravel... but in one corner I've left it glass bottomed for ease filling up the tank for water changes...

Anyhow... this morning there is "something" tiny and narrow clearly moving there (about 3 of them)... but they are so small I can't make out what exactly they are. I tried to take a picture in hopes I could blow it up and make out what it was... but clearly my camera isn't good enough for something that small.

Could they be shrimp babies? I've had them in there for about 3 weeks now and now seen a thing babywise!

Could be shrimp babies. If you can skew your eyes enough, they'll look exactly like the adults, just in miniature.

More then likely baby shrimp. They tend to breed like rabbits, and if you have a tank dedicated to them you'll most definitely end up with hundreds.
